Welcome
All People's Church is a new faith community located in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. We are an independent church in fellowship with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) . We are located in a the historic Cross Roads Christian Church. In 1812 it was a site of one of the first Disciples of Christ churches in Canada.
It is an exciting time for All People's Church as we journey through the steps of shaping ourselves. We use the classic Christian truism "In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love." as our spiritual compass.
As our name implies, we are attempting to create a Christian faith community which provides all people a pathway for their spiritual journey. That pathway allows freedom of thought and a challenge to fully engage one's faith.
Our independence allows us to incorporate the best of Christian traditions within the worship, mission outreach and governing of our church life. We are about being a church that encourages ways of allowing people in instead of rules to keep people out. We are also about discovering ways we can reach out into the the world to proclaim Christ's gospel though service to those in need.
